Ronald B. Adler

Former Director of the Public Defenders office for the County of LA. Loving son of Herbert and Vera Adler; husband of Patricia; father to Allyson, Jeremy and Gabriel; grandfather to Hannah, James, Kendall and Dylan. Also the amazing brother of Frank Adler. Cousin to Vivian. Ron's parents fled from Germany to Shanghai in 1938 where Ron and his brother Frank were born. They also lived in Israel from 1948-1950. Ron ultimately spoke five languages. They moved to Boyle Heights in 1950 when he was 10. At that time he was a little Jewish kid with short pants and long socks, speaking the good Queen's English. He learned to be very charming, very fast. Ron graduated from Hamilton High School in 1958 and from UCLA in 1962. He was proud to be a Bruin. He was married four times to Sharon, Elaine, Naomi and Patricia. He loved us all.
