Dr. Edward Kamenir Kamenir, Edward, DDS, JD. Born June 7, 1922, died June 22, 2010. Husband of 63 years to his beloved Charlotte; father of Sandra, Barbara (Dr. Stuart Siegel), Janice (Benjamin Reznik), David and Michael. Adoring grandfather of Josh (Amy), Aaron (Carrie), and Shira Frankel; Yoni, Devi and Sami Reznik; Talia and Sarah Kamenir; proud great grandfather of Noah Frankel. Beloved brother of Shirley Schuster (Irwin z”l); brother-in-law of Dr. Don and Corky Luber; and machatunim to David and Helen Reznik. He is survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Past President, Sinai Temple, and passionate builder and life-long supporter of numerous community and Jewish institutions, including Camp Ramah, American Jewish University, Jewish World Watch, Neighborhood Legal Services, Jewish Home for the Aging, Beit T’shuvah, and Jewish Family Service. Donations in his honor can be made to any of these organizations. |
